WHAT IS STRENGTH & CONDITIONING?

Strength and Conditioning uses science based programming to create a training plan based on an athlete’s long term goals, with a focus on injury prevention and proper mechanics, in order to improve performance and efficiency.

An athlete is anyone with goals to improve their strength and performance and is willing to invest in themselves to achieve those goals.

As S&C programming consists of multiple training phases over a longer period of time, individual coaching sessions are not available. However smaller training phase programs are available for people new to training.

Current Programs

  • For those with no or little experience with a structured and supervised resistance training program, or those wanting to reinforce their technique on fundamental lifts.
    This 6 week program focuses on technique and strength development of the horizontal push, horizontal pull, squat and hinge pattern movements.
    NO GYM MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

    Initial functional movement screening
    > Individualised 6 week program - gym and home versions
    > Final week strength testing
    > Free Performobility training shirt

  • Building on the foundations created in Phase 1, this 6 week program introduces Vertical Push and Vertical Pull movement patterns, and accessory training.
    This program is only available to those who have completed Phase 1 and is recommended as a continuation.
    NO GYM MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

    > Weekly 1-on-1 in-person training session
    > Functional movement screening continuation
    > Muscle strength and endurance testing
    > Individualised 6 week program - gym and home versions

Programs are available in multiple places around the Brisbane area but availability is limited and participants are screened to ensure they are a good fit for each program.
